Game Developer | HTML5 slots and AI agent workflows

I’m a game developer with 5 years of experience in iGaming, working with TypeScript, PixiJS and HTML5. My career has also taken me through technical sales, account management and teaching in the UK and overseas. Those roles involved understanding what people needed, explaining unfamiliar ideas and adapting to different audiences. That experience still influences how I work with colleagues, customers and stakeholders.
In game development, I’ve taken features through to release, contributed to framework improvements and supported teammates through code review and mentoring. I’ve also taken on product-owner responsibilities and run scrums.
More recently, I’ve been developing practical workflows with Claude Code and Codex, including reusable instructions, project knowledge and checks on generated work. I’m enthusiastic about exploring what these tools can contribute to game development and learning through building and testing.
Made repositories agent-legible with project instructions, structured conventions and source-linked knowledge, plus reusable workflows for assets, spin fixtures and release checks.
Led agent-assisted development of a TypeScript/PIXI.js framework and live editor, using typed contracts and clean module boundaries.
Built prototypes and a slot demo with anticipation, turbo/autoplay and bonus-trigger presentation, plus reel animation-timing controls and portrait/landscape layouts.
Organised subagents into research, build and review roles, combining existing browser MCP tooling, type checks, regression tests and mutation probes.
Generated spin fixtures with grid, event-order and payout-consistency checks, then corrected a free-spin event contract and verified five no-win rounds in-browser.
Directed creation of original prototype art, audio and simplified Spine animations, with provenance and runtime checks.
Develop casino clients from design hand-off to release, collaborating with designers and implementing reel anticipation, cascade overlays, enlarged wilds, multipliers and Spine big-win presentation.
Built JavaScript/TypeScript and HTML5 games for mobile, tablet and desktop browsers, applying SOLID principles and owning features through to release.
Built PIXI.js clients, improved the framework, reviewed pull requests, mentored teammates and managed release builds and casino deployments as product owner.
Developed slot and scratch-card UI in Flash/ActionScript, progressing from an internship into an iGaming development role.
I assisted with the client and was responsible for at least 10 reskins, which include branded versions such as:
BSc (Hons) Computer Games Programming, De Montfort University, 2008–2011; A Levels and GCSEs, John Cleveland College.
I follow world affairs, technology and astronomy, enjoy reading and board/video games, and visit historical and cultural places with my family.
I also enjoy collaborative storytelling as a Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Master.
